Balancing Your Hormones

wellness for menWe wanted to share a few more simple tips to improve your overall health. 

Make sleep a priority

Be sure to get at least seven to nine hours of sleep every night. This gives your body the chance to heal and recharge. Sleep also lowers stress and cravings and sharpens memory. You can find much more information on how to improve your sleep on our Sleep Problems and Treatments page.

Eat a healthy, balanced diet

Getting proper daily nutrition is crucial to your overall health and well-being. Include plenty of the right nutrients in your diet, and limit foods and drinks high in calories, salt, and sugar. And if you are currently eating a healthy diet yet still suffer from health issues, we can help with nutritional testing.

Get plenty of exercise

Make sure you’re incorporating regular exercise into your normal routine. Men who exercise are less likely to suffer from conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, coronary artery disease, and depression.

Monitor your mental health and stress levels

Pay close attention to warning signs of depression and try to manage your stress in a healthy way. High levels of stress can be extremely harmful to the body, and these days, there’s more stress than ever in our lives.
